Braves Gameday Information

Cover Your Bases.

Worried about traffic and where to park? We know. And, we can help.

If you’re headed to the game, these three, plan-ahead tips will help you navigate your way to SunTrust Park in plenty of time for the first pitch.

Buy your ticket in advance: The Braves are the first Major League Baseball team to transition to paperless tickets. Fans can secure tickets—months in advance or moments before the game—through the Ballpark app, by visiting or calling the Braves ticket office at 404-577-9100.

Buy your parking in advance: You’ll receive a discounted rate and customized directions to your parking lot. The majority of gameday lots will require pre-payment, though some will accept credit card payment on site. Get the inside scoop on parking, below.

Trust Waze to get you to SunTrust Park: Waze will be receiving real-time information from Cobb County that will better inform fans of the best route to the game. Integrated into the Ballpark app, Waze will provide detailed directions to individual parking lots to help spread traffic out across a broader area, while also receiving official updates on traffic conditions around the ballpark.

Parking Information

The Braves also announced they would be able to offer more than 14,000 parking spaces owned or leased by the organization for game day. This is already 5,000 more spaces than were available at Turner Field, all serving a ballpark that features roughly 8,000 fewer seats. Additionally, Cobb County and the City of Smyrna have issued independent parking permits for several operators in the area, bringing more than 1,200 additional parking spots into play.

With more than 14,000 spaces dispersed around the ballpark, fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their parking in advance. Doing so will enable them to save money through a discounted advance purchase, as well as receive customized directions directly to their parking lot. The majority of game day lots will require pre-payment, though some will accept credit card payment on site.

Alternative Rides

If you’re looking to rideshare, use public transportation, or cycle, SunTrust Park is connected to many alternative commute options.

UBER: Uber's partnership with the Braves offers fans the only way to get directly from their door to the ballpark at an affordable price. The new Uber Zone will be located along Windy Ridge Parkway, just steps from the ballpark allowing for ease of pick-up and drop-off. Uber also is launching an innovative new approach to pick-up at SunTrust Park, allowing riders to call for an Uber, receive a number they can give to the next available driver in line and then hop in and head home. This will allow for faster departures and easier access to waiting Ubers.

CobbLinc: Cobb’s public transit system will be providing service to SunTrust Park. CobbLinc has five bus routes serving Cumberland. MARTA connects directly to CobbLinc at the Cumberland Transfer Station via MARTA Route 12.

Cumberland Circulator: Getting around Cumberland just got easier. This new extension of CobbLinc provides high-frequency service throughout the Cumberland district. The service features three routes designed to improve mobility in the area and relieve traffic congestion. Riders can use their Breeze Cards, CobbLinc Magnetic Passes and exact cash to hop aboard. For questions about this service, call 770-427-4444.

Bike Station: The Braves have made SunTrust Park bicycle friendly with an on-site bike depot with bike racks and lockers, and have formed partnerships with bike-sharing programs. Take advantage of these racks and lockers, but don't forget to bring your own lock!
